English verbs are divided
into three groups: Normal Verbs, Non-Continuous Verbs, and Mixed Verbs.
"Normal Verbs."
are usually physical actions which you can see somebody doing.
(to walk, to eat,, to go,
to say, etc.)
Example-
(I go to school everyday.)
Non-Continuous Verbs
You cannot see somebody doing and it is used very less . These are rarely
used in continuous tenses.
Abstract Verbs
( to want, to cost, to
seem, to care, to owe)
Possession Verbs
To belong,to
own,
Emotion Verbs
to like, to love, to hate, to dislike, (Attachment of emotions
with the verbs used)
Example:
· He is wanting to help now. Not Correct
· He wants to help now. Correct
Mixed Verbs
"Mixed Verbs," is the smallest group. These verbs have
more than one meaning.

Active / Passive
Verb Forms
When sentences
can be in both Active or Passive form ,Tenses used in the sentences also in
both Active and Passive Form in the verbs used .
Active Form
In active sentences, the thing doing the action is the subject of
the sentence …….
Class Teacher
teaches to his Students

Passive Form
You can use the
passive form if you think that the thing receiving the action is more important
or should be emphasized.
